Wade into the waters of the Indian River Lagoon and explore the most biologically diverse estuary in North America. Use seine nets to discover the animals that live in the sea grass beds, mangrove tangles, and open water of the St. Lucie Estuary. No experience necessary - just the desire to get wet, dirty, and have fun!
Appropriate for adults and children 7 years and older.
WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, towel, hat, bug spray, bathing suit, drinking water, old sneaker or water shoes (must be closed-toe) No sandals or flip-flops.
Please note:
~Minimum of 6 participants per session; maximum of 20 participants
~Weather permitting
~Appropriate attire is REQUIRED for your safety. Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
~Registration is confirmed upon receipt of activity fee and on a first registered, first-served basis.
~Registration closes 24 hours before seining adventure.
~Florida Oceanographic reserves the right to cancel any session. Activity fee will be refunded in full.
~Refund for cancellation granted up to 2 days prior to activity date. No refunds will be granted after that time.
